Rex John has over 35 years experience in public
relations and related fields. After completing his education at the
University of Denver and University of Colorado, Rex began a career
that included positions as Director of Community Relations for
Petro-Lewis Corporation, Manager of Public Relations and Communications
for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Vice-President of Public
Relations for the Greater Denver Chamber of Commerce and President of
Houston Proud.
He further broadened his experience by extensive
involvement in the community as a member of over twenty boards of
directors, including the Board of Health and Hospitals for the City and
County of Denver (appointed by the Mayor), Denver Center for the
Performing Arts, Colorado Ballet, and the State of Colorado Juvenile
Justice Council (appointed by the Governor), to name only a few. Rex currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and the Board of Directors of The Learning Source.
He started his own public relations firm in Houston in 1990 and moved it to Denver in 2005.
